Vietnam
Vietnam continues to be a popular choice for EFL teachers and new positions are always being posted over on our TEFL Jobs Centre. Teachers typically work 15 to 25 hours a week in Vietnam and, due to the low living costs, you can earn well enough to enjoy your time in the country as well as saving a bit as well. South Korea’s strong teaching market has long offered lucrative opportunities for entry-level EFL teachers, who can expect to earn between 1.9 to 2.4 million won (£1,300 – 1,650) as well as being provided with free accommodation and flight reimbursement.Opportunities can be found in public schools with the government-run EPIK scheme and private language schools, hagwons, of which there are around 100,000 in the country.
