Depending on the course that you purchase you will need to take tests and assignments. The 40 and 60 hour course will have two tests, a grammar and final test. The 120 hour and 150 hour course will have a grammar and final test and assignments to be completed during the course. Those assignments need to be sent to your trainer. The trainer will grade them and send you feedback on your work usually within 5 working days. Feedback is comprehensive and will include careful comments on your work and assignments, together with suggestions and recommendations. The assignments consist of a range of different tasks that include lesson plans on different skills and analysis of classroom management situations.
150 hour course: you must complete a lesson plan assignment, self-study questions, grammar and final exam.
120 hour course: you must complete a lesson plan assignment, self-study questions, grammar and final exam.
60 hour course: you must complete self-study questions, grammar and final exam.
40 hour course: you must complete the grammar test and final exam.
Lesson plan and other assignments are Pass or Fail. You have three attempts.
Grammar exam: You must pass with at least 50 points. You have three attempts.
Final Exam: You must pass with at least 50 points. You have three attempts.
Your final grade will be based on an average of your grammar and final exam.
90% to 100% = A
80% to 89% = B
50 to 79% = Pass

No, you do not need experience in teaching English. Any experience is ideal but it is not compulsory in finding jobs. Free in-class teaching practice is provided when hired through our Jobs Department. Our partners abroad will provide a free 5 to 15 day practical training before you start teaching. Some also provide language lessons and cultural training as well helping you adapt to the local culture.
